    Profession: Biologist. He now dedicates his time to giving motivational talks in private companies, schools and international and government institutions.

    Studies: License in biology.

    Favorite mountain: Mount McKinley, Matterhorn and Huascarán.

    Summits: Over 700, all across the world.

    First summit: Tajamulo Volcano, in Guatemala (4220 meters).

    Latest summit: Carstenz pyramid, in October, 1999.
    Between April and May, 2000, he climbed Mount Cho Oyu, reached 7.800 meters and had to abandon the goal because of the weather.

    Favorite place in the world: "My country…Guatemala."

    Greatest pride: "To have the honor of carrying my country's flag around the world's summits."

    Next project: "To climb the two mountains I'm missing to complete the World's 7 Summits. In November, 2000, I'll climb Mount Vinson, in Antarctica, and in March, 2001, I'll go for Mount Everest."

    Dream: "To be Central America´s first climber to complete the World's 7 Summits."

    Motto: "The limits to reach our goals are found only within us."
